Hi, I’m Kellie and I love to play with flowers.
I was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado. As a kid I loved to be outdoors, surrounded by fresh air and plants, getting my hands dirty. I still do! In high school, I managed a floral shop and my love for arranging flowers truly blossomed. Soon I was designing floral arrangements for the weddings of my family and friends.
In college I studied Art History and Spanish in Granada, Spain. I’m still inspired by the rich architecture of Granada and by some of my favorite artists—Frida Kahlo and Henri Matisse. I like to create floral arrangements with a twist. I love to play with asymmetry, fresh textures and unexpected color combinations.
My favorite flowers are tulips and blue delphiniums, which remind me of Colorado. My favorite person to create arrangements with is my 8-year-old daughter, Olive. She is my little right-hand lady, and loves to play with flowers as much as I do. My favorite place to be is outside, soaking up the fresh air and sun. Preferably barefoot.
